John 12:39-41

³⁹For this reason they could not believe, for Isaiah also said,

⁴⁰“He has blinded their eyes
and hardened their hearts,
so they might not see with their eyes
nor understand with their hearts and turn back,
and I would heal them.”^[a]

⁴¹Isaiah said these things because he saw His glory and spoke of Him.
